About ECN Accounts
ECN accounts are zero markup raw spread accounts that get charged a fixed commission of $2.50/lot per deal. ECN accounts are usually preferred by serious traders who require the lowest spread possible to trigger low time frame orders without an added spread.
Whatever your trading style is, ECN account type is perfectly suitable for all types of trading. You may be new to trading, so a demo account is the ideal choice to test your trading potential. It allows you to trade with virtual currency without exposing you to any risk, as your gains and losses are simulated. Important Notes:
- Accounts with balances above $25,000 could be subject to leverage restrictions.
- Balances above $100,000 have a maximum leverage of 100:1 and can be further lowered to 50:1 depending on position sizes. For example, having a net exposure of over 50 lots in a single pair.
- Certain instruments like metals & cryptocurrencies use Margin Requirement and have a fixed maximum Margin. For metals that is 100:1, for Major Cryptocurrencies that is 20:1.
